[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Layers and performance

2005-01-18 Thread tj_jayson

Hi All,

I have a Customized new form in BUS layer which also has CUS layer
and USR layer modifications. This form has salesline as the
underlying datasource .

Q1. Will the performance be affected becuase of different layer
of modification?

Thanks

TJJ

Theorically not; but you must note that the layer files are greater, somanaging them takes more memory in the client(2-tier) or server(3-tier). And, is yet more noticeably harder to the applicattion admin/programmer to manage those objects (time and error costs). So, try to have objects in few layers as possible.Raúl Llorente Peña Análisis, Desarrollo e Implementación en Microsoft Bussiness Solutions-AxaptaOPEN SOLUTIONS-"tj_jayson" [EMAIL PROTECTED] escribió: -Para: Axapta-Knowledge-Village@yahoogroups.comDe: "tj_jayson" [EMAIL PROTECTED]Fecha: 18/01/2005 18:26Asunto: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Layers and performanceHi All,I have a Customized new form in BUS layer which also has CUS layer and USR layer modifications. 2004-12-07 Thread Andre Klopper

Hi,

We developed vertical.
Now I want to import this into the clients bus layer, they do have a bus runtime
license. How do I get out application into there bus layer without loading our
bus development license.

Regards,
Andre
