Purchase Order (Consumption) Path : Inventory Mgt/Setup/Posting/Posting-Purchase Order Can anyone advice me when does system use the posting profile for 'Consumption' what is the recommad account to use. Hi Cheah, Try the following and you will understand when consumption account is used. 1. Make sure standard cost price is unchecked in the inventory model group. (if checked, standard cost price accounts will be used instead of consumption) 2. Create and invoice a purchase order. see the item cost price 3. Create and invoice credit note for that purchase order. change the price each different from the cost price. 4. When you inquire the credit note invoice, you will see the consumption account is used.
