hi
There can be many reason for this odd behavior.
Can you produce this in standard axapta? If yes then do let me have
the details, I will reproduce the thing and will check if there is
any need to change settings.

Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Master Planning: Why CANCEL
a PLANNED order?
Jens and Harry,
Thank-you both for your input. I am not new to master planning but
am VERY new to Axapta master planning.
If I am hearing you correctly then, Axapta really is suggesting I
cancel the PLANNED order. I'm not used to that. My previous
software would have done that before I would see it.
The only demand on this item is for safety stock and then there are
19 BOM line requirements. The current on-hand and on-order will
more
than cover the requirements. It recommends reducing and delaying the
two purchase orders and many of the planned orders.
What is the process to cancel the PLANNED order then?

Philip,
Well, if you have setup your coverage group to handle action
messages, you
could experience this.
This will happen if - after the coverage plan has been run - you
have
planned orders for a given item, while at the same time have an
existing
purchase order for the same item, that Axapta will suggest to
increase in
qty.
Let's say that you have a purchase order of 100 pcs, while you
have
a
planned purchase order of 50 pcs. If setup properly, Axapta will
suggest
that you cancel the planned purchase and increase the the current
purchase
order by 50, so that you end up with 150 pcs.
You will then see an action to increase the current PO, while
cancelling the
planned order.
Just remember, that you will also have to consider positive and
negative
days.
Hope this helps.

Why does MP issue 'cancel' actions for a planned order? What is
there
to cancel?
