Yes , you can have different number sequence for different journals.

Go to Inventory managementsetupJournalsJournal Names, Inventory and
assign different number sequence to different Journals.

You can define unlimited number sequences in BasicsetupNumber Sequence
and can use in different scenarios.

I hope, I answered your question correctly :S

Regards.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] inventory journal

2004-12-06 Thread jeroen_vangheluwe

Dear,

I made an inventory journal for a profit/loss (2 pieces for a certain
item).
I posted it.
When I look at the net requirements for the article, I still see an a
reference to my inventory journal (quantity = -1 ???). Normally it
should be gone(because its posted) I need to get rid of this
reference because the journal is posted...

how can I do this?

Kind regards,

Jeroen Vangheluwe

RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Inventory Journal Lines - Transfer ? Report

2004-10-02 Thread Edouard

Just for info,

Ive found 2 ways
to discover the name of a report (but only remember 1):

While the report runs
(e.g. to screen) break it of: the error message will tell you its name.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Inventory Journal Lines - Transfer ? Report

Hi All,

I am trying to find the report name in the AOT for the Inventory Journal Lines
- Transfer Report. I tried tracing it through the menus but was
unsuccessful in finding the name of the report.

The Axapta navigation to produce the report is:

Menu - IM = Journal = Item transaction =
Transfer = Select Journal = Print.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I need to work on the report this
weekend.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Inventory Journal Lines - Transfer ? Report

2004-10-02 Thread Harry Deshpande

Hi Edouard

Go to the menu, check properties for name
of the menu item (which will be of type output). Now go to the menu item, check
properties

 If
the property class is set at report , object name is your report name.
 If
the property class is set at class, then go that class

i.
If there
is a method called lastvalueelementname then the name returned by this method
is your report name

ii.
If there
is no such method try searching on print and you will find a path
to reach where your report is being called (take a look at class
salesformletter_invoice)
