When u have report as finished qty '0' it would say 'missing report as
finished error and if u have consumed some material then it would not be
possible in a business scenario to back off them...

I don’t know if I understood the problem well but here is what I usually
do...
I finish the good qty as 1 and pass a counting journal for the finished
good. Let me know if this would work for you or I will think of alternate
way
