[AZORES-Genealogy] Help with record from Terceira

2012-12-16 Thread Altino Demelo
Hi everyone,

I just came across info recently that leads one of my mother's lines away from
São Miguel to the island of Terceira.

I found the marriage record of my mother's 6x great grandparents in São Matheus
de Calheta, Ilha de Terceira.

http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/TER-AH-SAOMATEUSCALHETA-C-1690-1740/TER-AH-SAOMATEUSCALHETA-C-1690-1740_item1/P18.html

from my reading of the record, the groom is Antonio Fernandes de Mello, widower
of Maria Alvares. The problem i'm having is with the father of the bride.

She is Angela Martins, daughter of Manuel de & Barbara Martins.

Any help/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Altino

I am just guessing and it does not make sense to me but I read Vici de

[AZORES-Genealogy] ancestry

2012-12-16 Thread Mike
Do any of you use ancestry? I went to look at some information there and my
subscription, my trees everything was gone and they say my user name or
email doesn't exist. Luckily I made the investment into family tree maker
and still have everything.
Has this happened to anyone else?
