I called Ancestry today, they are still having issues. I can log on from the web site but my Family Tree Maker account won't connect. Tells me my password is wrong, which it isn't. Also the program is stalling. The man said that is part of their problem and not my computer or my program. Well I spent several days and nights researching this record from 1864 (which would have made her 16) to 1840 (which would have made her 40 years old) and I did not find a record for her and I am about cross-eyed now. Why is there no record?? I have no idea so I will try another posting and see if someone might recognize her parents. As far as I know she only had this one child. [AZORES-Genealogy] Death record info - is the mother still living if it says she is single and a domestic?
I am searching for a date of death. On one of her children's marriage record it it gives her name, that she is single, and a domestic. Would I be correct in assuming that this grandmother is still living when this child was married? It would help me find a death date for this mother. Thank you. The way I read your post is that she's a mom, then later she morphed into a grandmother. Can you clarify further with names?
