Jose da Estrella was born on 3 Feb 1853 in Sao Pedro, Ribeira Seca, Ribeira
Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores. His father Bartolomeu da Camara was from Nossa
Senhora da Conceicao, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, His Mother Carolta de
Jesus was from Sao Pedro, Ribeira Seca, Ribeira Grande, Sao miguel. I think
it doesn't list Bartolomeu da Camara's parents (its hard to read) but it
looks like Antonio Ventura and Anna de Jesus are Carlota's parents.

I'm stumped on this.one of the children's baptisms states he was from

2015-03-12 Thread Rosemarie Capodicci
Nancy Marilyn,

Maybe Marilyn and I will be able to find the connection once we meet in
SLC. I connect with quite a few of Marilyn's people so we have a good
chance of making the connection! So sorry that we can't all be together
but, as you say, maybe next time. Marilyn, would you write to me at
rcap...@gmail.com? I was thinking of bringing some of the old National
Geo's that have articles about the Azores/Portuguese but don't want to
carry them, maybe mail them to you to bring???

Thank you cousins, Rosemarie and Marilyn,

I spent a few sleepless nights trying to figure out how to be in two
places at once...alas, just couldn't figure it out.

Please, set the date for the next one as early as possible! At this point
in my life long term plans work best! I won't miss the next one and hope to
see both of you as well as meet many more new cousins.I do love
 extended family!

Nancy so sorry you will not be at the conference this year. I was looking
forward to seeing you again, since I missed last year.

I also believe we are related and was looking forward to checking that out
 with you.

many of our attendees are returning people but I guess they just like to be
with all the rest of the crazy Portuguese researchers! We so enjoy them
all, be they beginner or have been researching for years. It's nice to have
people come who have been researching for a long time because they always
have knowledge to impart to us all, Cheri and I included! We will miss you

 Hi Cheri,

I'm so disappointed I can't go this year! Family issues prevent me leaving
during that time! I learned so much when I went and enjoyed being with so
 many other Azoreans!

Please let us know the date of the next one well in advance so I can make
 a long range plan!

 Have a great conference,

 Nancy Jean
