Thanks! Although I also saw C. Velha, it's quite confusing because it says C. VeIha NOT C. Velha. Criação Velha is the freguesia (village). The church there is Nossa Senhora das Dores. Someone else will have to send you the links from the Azores GenWeb that has the map and links to the church records. My computer is in the shop.
