[AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Baptismal 1876 Maia strange wording help
Thanks for the responses! I had a feeling it wasn't the country, but the wording threw me off. I've the Rua da... and understood it to be street, etc. But, I've never seen it followed with a person's name. So, a canada is a narrow street/lane. Always learning something new! [AZORES-Genealogy] unfamiliar word
On the attached record there are some words or a phrase that I am unfamiliar with. It is the second record on the left side of the page for Constantino. I can read that the child's name is Constantino legitimate son of Constantino Jose Soares and Anna Izabel then it says neto paterno and gives the paternal grandparents' names then [_same word/phrase] and gives the maternal grandparents' names. I can read the remainder of the record but I don't know if those words that I am not understanding are important. That word/phrase is not on the records of the other children for this couple. http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SJR-VL-SANTOAMARO-B-1842-1854/SJR-VL-SANTOAMARO-B-1842-1854_item1/P9.html Thank you for your assistance as usual.
