You are in the 2nd time period (before 1860) and the parents are on the opening lines. In your record, the father is on the 1st line and the 1st word on the 2nd line. The mother's name (two words, both capitalized) is on the 2nd line. Give it a try. Numbers are hard, but the months are close to English. Look on the 10th line and see if you can figure out the month. The day (on the 9th line) is dezasete (17). Part of the year is on the 10th line with the month. mil oito (1000 8) and the 11th line centos equarenta. He should have put "e quarenta." So hundred and 40. Put that together and it's 1840.
