Thank you all for your help I think I'm now on the right track With that being said, I can't make out this marriage record for Jose Dias and Anna (left page). It looks to me that his name is Jose Dias but there's another name following the Dias that I can't make outcould be medeiros maybe? As well I can't read the grandparents' name nor can I read where her grandparents came from. Omg, I hope I'm reading the right record... I'm pretty sure I am as I calculated dates. Nelia, One of the problems is that the priest (s) in S. Vicente were very sloppy about reporting where the parents were baptized and married. They often say S.
