Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Passaportes (Ponta Delgada) São Miguel

2018-03-04 Thread Cheri Mello
Felipe,

I don't know where you live. I don't know where "here" is.

The passaportes can be accessed from tombo.pt: https://tombo.pt/d/acores

You have to look for your ancestor by reading all the entries. No index or
search feature exists. If 1899 has the freguesia column, I would look for
Lomba de Maia instead of looking at every Manuel.
Good luck,

Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Anyone use www.repositoriohistorico.pt?

2018-03-04 Thread Maria Sousa
I just checked it out. I didn't have to login, just used the search
feature. It took me to what looks to be the same as tombo.pt. Same
records.

meu Bisavô que chegou aqui em 1899. Onde posso descobrir? Em ponta delgada
tem alguma pesquisa por nome?
Acho que achei o navio mas não tenho tanta certeza.

Liz, I don't understand your question or abbreviations. Can you write things
out without the abbreviations? CE is Common Era, the modern acronym for what we
learned as A.D. (Anno Domini). DNA is measured in centoMorgans (cMs), not
centograms. That's a different kind of measurement. If you can explain more, I
can help when I get home tonight, unless Rick gets to it first. Cheri

[AZORES-Genealogy] Anyone use www.repositoriohistorico.pt?

2018-03-04 Thread nydemello
I came across this website http://www.repositoriohistorico.pt. I wondered if
anyone uses this for their research and what information it contains. It
appears it may be useful but requires a login. Thought I would ask before I
