 Hello,

I've recently had to deal with my father's bones being placed in an
 ossuary.

My father passed away in 1987 and the cemetery had placed him on the list
to exhume back in 2017. Instead of his bones to be placed in a mass grave
of bones, I had the option to have him placed in a n ossuary in the same
 cemetery. There was a fee.

I have provided a link to the image from facebook when it was being
blessed by the parish priest. Just copy and paste it in your browser.

Quick question. Is there a Y group of Portuguese descendants? With the price
about half now of what I paid on another line, I thought it worth another
inquiry.

Thank you,

Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Joao Moreira b. 1868, Sao Miguel island

2020-01-09 Thread Sherry Phillips Swatek
My mother is there.
Beth B215273 B. Coones
We are in all databases. I thought I was part of the project and that’s why I
have the emails. It lists her in Azores Island and Iberian Peninsula projects.
I will research and see if I missed something.
Thanks for your assistance!
Her maternal Aunt is Betty Bolin B215273 and I use this to try to filter for
paternal only.

In My Heritage she is listed as Mary Beth Coones (Born Phelan)

Beth Coones on 23 and me

Ancestry-Mary Beth Phelan Coones or Mbcoones ancestry

Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Joao Moreira from Sao Miguel island, late 1800s

2018-07-03 Thread Sherry Phillips Swatek
Thanks for asking my mother’s
Name in all these places is Beth or Mary Beth, either Phelan(the name she was
born with) or Coones, married name. Her father was a secret lover. About 75
percent chance René Morin or 25 percent his brother John Joseph. She shows up
in the Portuguese genetic communities and the ones to Hawaii.
