Yes that is interesting. Although I think her maiden name was Jacinta Emila Conciecao married Joao Soares Sentinella from Villa Franca on the island of San Miguel. Cheri, It looks like this discussion is about the newspaper A Sentinella published in the late 1800's. I don't believe it has anything to do with our family, just seems to be a coincidence. So what do you know about Jacinthia Emilia? My Great Great Grand Mother is Jacintha Amilia Soares Sentinella. She imigrated to Hawaii in 1882 on the SS Hansa with her husband Joao Soares Sentinella and 4 children, Maria, Fransisca, Jose and Joao. The age of the Jacintha in my family tree is however older than yours. She was 39 when she imigrated in 1882, so a little older than your relative. Could this be the same person?
