[AZORES-Genealogy] Azorean Genealogy Conference - SLC - success story!!!!

Having a wonderful time in Salt Lake City attending the Azores Genealogical 
Conference & Research Trip. Cheri Melo and Rosemarie Capodicci do a 
fantastic job of sharing with us pretty much everything they've learned 
through their years about researching Azorean ancestors...including reading 
Portuguese parish records! And...they take care of the logistics of the 
event!!! Also...having Joao Ventura of Terceira Island here to instruct as 
well as provide hands-on assistance with reading Portuguese is fabulous!! 
Plus...we get to "hang out" with a great group of people "finding their 
past". We share our own experiences and help each other find pieces to our 
family puzzles. Don't miss attending one of these conferences!!   Here'e

I agree wholeheartedly ! It was great fun and I think we all learned so much!  
Thanks to Cheri and Rosemarie for organizing everything and to Joao for all the 
insights into the history and to the records of the Azores!  Hopefully I'll be 
able to attend again in the future.
