Hi, I have a few Jeronima or Jeronimo surname people. Some are on Faial and some are on Pico. Maybe this is actually the name in question. My husband has an ancestor, Ginimano, born in 1880 in Topo. Assuming he immigrated to the U. S., what first name would he be likely to take for Ginimano? What would that translate to? Any ideas anyone?
