Please help me with this Baptism record. Top Left hand side of the page, note the record starts on the previous page but most of the information is on this link. http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/TER-AH-ALTARES-B-1860-1869/TER-AH-ALTARES-B-1860-1869_item1/P205.htm The information in this records matches part of my tree but then does not. This part of the family changed their names a lot and named their children accordingly. Everything piece of information including the ones in the margin may help me connect to cousins. My ability to read the records is limited and this record is just to important to make a mistake. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Also if anyone has additional information on this couple. I believe I may need to place an additional generation in this part of the tree in which cousins are connecting to me. I believe many of us have been blending several generations of this family line. I thought I had it worked out. Several years ago, after collect several children’s records, I connected Joao Ventura and he told him that there was a Jose Coelho Berbereia de Melo and Isabel da Conceicao (she changes her name to Isabel de Jesus over time.). They are my 3rd Great grandparents. Their son Jose (my Great Uncle) uses several different names and he too marries Isabel de Jesus. Now what I’m thinking is I have blended my Great Uncle’s information with his son’s information. If so my Great Uncle’s son also married a lady named Isabel de Jesus. I believe the baptism record to be either the child of my Great Uncle or his son.
