I have two Gertrudes' as daughters of Miguel de Sousa Sidadao and Maria de
Paiva of Rabo de Peixe both married to a Sebastiao Oliveira - One is listed as
Gertrudes Sousa Rocha wife of Sebastiao (married 6.4.1749 have not found a
marriage with this date to-date; think someone may have made a mistake when
translating and should be 1759? if so why differences in mothers name of
Sebastio??) who was the son of Manoel Oliveira Pimentel and Teresa de Teves AND
the other listed as Gertrudes da Asumpcao wife of Sebastio (married 6.4.1759)
who is the son of Manoel de Oliveira Pimentel and Theresa de Jesus!
Both of the above couples were from Rabo de Peixe. The marriage of second
couple was translated by Rick (thanks again).
I'm trying to figure out if the above are two distinct couples or one with
various names and a daughter who used interchangeable names as well.
I'm getting very confused with this one.
ANY help, etc. greatly appreciated. Thank you all!
