Make sure you go to the Portuguese Genealogical & Historical Society of Hawaii 810 North Vineyard Blvd, room 11 Honolulu, Hawaii 96817 (808-841-5044 Library/office) They have a database of portuguese immigrants to Hawaii and their descendentsof over 262,000 names very helpful. plus the university of Hawaii campus will help in research. I am headed West next week and will be headed to the Islands for the week. I will be on Oahu beginning this Saturday. Unfortunately, I can't get to Maui or Hawaii. I am hoping that I can fit some time in for records research. We will be staying in the hills above Honolulu. Is there somewhere I can go to do some research relatively local to Honolulu?
