Welcome Kim, I have a ggrandfather, Jose Pereira, born in 1836 and he had a brother Antonio born in 1827oddly mine left the island in 1853 on a whaling ship and also oddly, he married in 1866! Interesting coincidences! Mine stayed in New Bedford after immigrating. I'm sure you'll make many new discoveries this year. This group is amazingly helpful!
