Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Brazil to Portugal
Bom Dia Isabella, I tried again and still slow. I have been trying from a school computer so it should be fast but maybe because it is a blog it may take longer? It is usual for the school computer to take a long time to download. I will try on my computer from home. Thanks for your help. Thank you very much for the information. It has been a great help. So I went ahead and verified Manuel's brother and everything checks out except the census. The only one I am questioning is Tony (Son) . I have no record of him ever existing unless he passed away when he was young. In 1920 Manuel's brother Joao b. abt. 1893, came to the US, on the ship Britannia, to his brother Manuel Teotonio living in Mansfield MA. The Teotonio's were born in Villa Franca, Sao Miguel. I have not found them on 1930 census thus far. Elaine -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to azores+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. Follow the confirmation directions when they arrive. Sandy, I would suggest you try and get the birth record for Tony. It is possible he died shortly after birth which is why there is no family history about him.
