So what do you know about Jacinthia Emilia? My Great Great Grand Mother is Jacintha Amilia Soares Sentinella. She imigrated to Hawaii in 1882 on the SS Hansa with her husband Joao Soares Sentinella and 4 children, Maria, Fransisca, Jose and Joao. The age of the Jacintha in my family tree is however older than yours. She was 39 when she imigrated in 1882, so a little older than your relative. Could this be the same person? Hi Cheri I was looking at what records to order for the conference. Seems that there is NO RECORDS for a church in Ribeira Cha. I looked at the Ribeira Cha page you sent here. This freguesia had 'ermidas' ...one built in 1725 and the other in 1853. An official parochial church was built in 1967. From my Grandmother Virginia's baptismal record, her mother Jacinta was born in Ribeira Cha but associated with the church in Agua de Pau.
