Most likely she died suddenly or before the priest could arrive.

"Maria carvalha wife of Gonçalo Pavão didn't receive the sacrament because she
died something "sappita" (?) or
Fapitta(?). Does anyone know what that could mean.
I could only find one child for her and Goncalo, so I thought the mother, Maria
CARVALHA, died after the birth of the child, but the dates didn't work out.
Thank you for any light you can through on this.
