My Pereira Dutras traveled separately, serially from Silviera, Pico to Boston

been another daughter Rosa. Mine went out of San Miguel.

USA together? How likely is it that she would have come here by herself as a

Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Would they add to their records

2012-08-04 Thread Altino Demelo
Mike, that is highly unlikely.

It may have been published in one of the various US portuguese newspapers as
some of those publications had small articles about people from the various
towns who would be travelling to the azores.

I think that may be more help to you.

The newspaper archive is online and searchable:
https://news.arcasearch.com/usmaums/

Click on the photo of the newspaper and it will give you a new window where you
can type in names and search according to one particular publication or all
available newspapers. You can also search by date.

Subject: [AZORES-Genealogy] Would they add to their records

If some of our ancestors met their spouse over here in the USA, like mt gr8t
gr8t grandparents did, and then they took a trip home to introduce their new
husband or wife to their family would that get recorded somewhere in their
Parrish's records.
