I've noticed LOTS of Texeira's in Agua Retorta on Sao Miguel in my researching this week whereas I haven't seen that name hardly in Ponta Delgada churches. Sao roque, Sao Pedro, or Sao Joze. Hope this leads to something for u. Syndi, I have some Teixeira's from Ribeira Grande but I do not have a Manoel Teixeira married to a Maria da Estrella. Can you give me some dates. Are there any other relatives you could name. What was the name of your grand uncle and when was he born?
