Agostinho Cordeiro Miranda was born 23 Oct 1864 in Ajuda Bretanha he died 9 Mar

Josh, just looking quickly thru the passporte apps I found an Agustino
Cordeiro Miranda age 42 & wife Umbelina 38 with children. Here is the link:

He is #396 and the family follows. Passporte dated 26 June 1907. You can
start there and work backwards if this isn't yours.

Josh, you can also check the passporte applications for Ponta Delgada, Sao
Miguel for the exit from the Azores. You have the date 9 July 1907? so you
should be able to find the application before that. Go to Tombo.pt, click
on Azores and when it comes up you will have the Passporte listed by place
and date. I believe the Ponta Delgada is first.

Josh, the Boston ship records are on Ancestry.com. Go to your local Family
History Center or maybe even your local public library to access this ship
manifest. It will list all of the ten children, where they came from and as
Judi stated, who they are going to in the USA.

Mirandas.  

My great grandfather, Manuel Cordeiro b 1985 Bretanha is one of the sons of 
Agostinho Cordeiro Miranda and Maria Julia Vivieros.  

I am still tracking down the rest of his siblings.  Were they named on the 
passenger manifest?

Arrived in Boston 9 Jul 1007, going to his uncle Antonio Motta, 319 Ferry St., 
Fall River, MA.  They were from Bretanha, Sao Miguel.
