Wow your family tree is fantastic. I’m new to this and my family tree does
not go back that far but, my family is from Sao miguel vila Franca do campo
and surrounding area, my family names are, sousa, pacheco, Dacosta, Tavares
Amaral patricio and soares... do you have Gedmatch or AncestryDNA? I would
love for you view my tree

Here are Cheri's instructions on how to transfer the DNA data from Ancestry
to FamilyTreeDna.com:

1) Download the raw data from Ancestry DNA:
https://support.ancestry.com/s/article/Downloading-Raw-DNA-Data-1460089696533

2) While waiting for the file to be compiled and emailed, create an account
on FTDNA:
https://www.familytreedna.com/autosomal-transfer

3) Download the raw data file that is in the email. Hopefully, it downloads
to the Download folder or the Desktop.



4) AncestryDNA changed their chip again and it's incompatible. Use this
converter tool:
http://www.mapmy23.com/tools/ancestry_ftdna_fix.php



5) Upload the raw data to the FTDNA page. Then join the Azores DNA project.

How to join a Project:

Log into the FTDNA page with the kit number and password.

Across the top is says: myFTDNA, DNA Tests, ProjectsPoint at Projects.
When the drop down menu appears, click "Join a project."

If the Azores Islands appears on the top, click the link and scroll down to
the JOIN button at the end.

If the Azores Islands is not suggested, scroll down to where it says
"Search by Surname" and type: azores.

When Azores Islands appears, click the link and follow the directions.

Good morning

I just added you to view my tree,
I went into the menu clicked tree, then manage tree, then it will open
another screen and that’s where you click sharing (I thinks it’s next to
privacy) and add anyone by email or user name to view your tree , you can
then go into those settings again and have the person you invited view
people still living...
I have you full access to view everyone in my tree

This is exciting stuff

I was not able to make any connections between our tree and yours. There 
are 3 matching surnames, Amaral, Tavares, and Pacheco. Are you able to see 
ant connections? My direct ancestors, Amaral, went to Hawaii from Sao 
Miguel. I  post the pedigree chart again, in the hopes that someone will be 
able to make a match. Thanks to allviewer
