[backstage] BBC Video RSS feeds guid
It looks like the RSS video feeds generate a guid for an item based on the link for the item. Unfortunately the parameters in the link can change places over time resulting in one item that has different links and guids. For example: http://www.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/mediaselector/check/player/nol/newsid_699/ newsid_6994300?redirect=6994310.stmnews=1bbram=1nbram=1nbwm=1bbwm=1asb =1 and http://www.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/mediaselector/check/player/nol/newsid_699/ newsid_6994300?redirect=6994310.stmnews=1bbwm=1nbram=1bbram=1nbwm=1asb =1 This can cause feed readers to duplicate the item.
