[BackupPC-users] Problem with backuppc
Hello, We have a server running under debian/sarge with backuppc. All think is right , but my storage space's utilization exceeds now 95% required. Also , we want to back up the pc workstations on an usb extern disk with Backuppc. The problem is how to configure the pc config.file in order to put all the backup data on this external disk. The disks in the server will be used for the backup of the servers only in order to reduce this percentage. [BackupPC-users] Mise en place d'un serveur backuppc secondaire
Bonjour, J'ai un serveur backuppc qui tourne déjà et je suis entrain d'installer un secondaire . L'installation est terminée et souhaite copier les éléments pour mettre les 2 serveurs au même niveau des données afin que je puisse arrêter backuppc secondaire et laisser tourner le principal. [BackupPC-users] Error 1067 when starting rsyncd
Hello, I have an one in all pc hoton running under XP sp1. I have used rsyncd's method to back up this pc using a backuppc server. I upgrade the sp1 to sp2 and i have installed again cygwin-rsyncd. When i try to start rsyncd , this message appears :the service has been stopped without opinion error 1067. Could you help me. [BackupPC-users] rsyncd's problem
Hello,I have backuppc for backupping upmy windows pc and linux servers. I have installed cygwin-rsyncd-2.6.2.0 and used rsyncd's method for my windows pc. With one of my windows pc, i have this problem : when i install thersyncd's package and want to start the rsyncd service , this message appears : the processus is stopped without opnion:error 1067.This pc is a HOTON with Windows XP Pro service Pack2 installed. Hello M. Barratt,I meet a problem when i backup a pc which has its ip address changed. When one of my windows pc has its ip address changed , backuppc sends a message :" inet connect , connection refused" . What is the reason of this failure?Sometimes , this message appears : unknown host while the pc exists and is on network. Could you give me some reasons. [BackupPC-users] auth failed on module
Hello,I have a backuppc 2.1.2 installed on a debian server and I use rsyncd for windowsXX for the backup of the pc. The backup running but with one of my pc client i meet this problem on a directory named antoinette . The backup starts with this directory and after some files backupped,this message appears : "auth failed on module antoinette" and this stops the pc's backup.
