[Bacula-users] Run Before Job
Hello, I need to make a copy of all the db in a remote computer. I saw how bacula makes a backup of the catalog, and I tried to do it in a similar way for the remote computer, but I've realized that [Run Before Job] executes the script locally ( the computer from where the director is running ), so as I need to export the databases to make a backup, I'm thinking about create a cron job in the remote computer. Is there any other way? Can bacula handle this situation (execute a script in a remote computer)? [Bacula-users] Bacula and TLS
After reading http://www.bacula.org/dev-manual/Bacula_TLS_Communication.html, I can't figure out how to set up bacula to use TLS and what's the meaning of the options. Is there any howto about setting up TLS in bacula? Currently I'm doing backups through the internet so I'd like to set a secure connection as soon as possible. In the docs I've seen: TLS CA Certificate File = /usr/local/etc/ssl/ca.pem # This is a server certificate, used for incoming # console connections. TLS Certificate = /usr/local/etc/ssl/backup1/cert.pem TLS Key = /usr/local/etc/ssl/backup1/key.pem How can I generate? /usr/local/etc/ssl/backup1/cert.pem /usr/local/etc/ssl/backup1/key.pem /usr/local/etc/ssl/ca.pem -- Adrián Ribao Martínez signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. Hello, is it possible to define a schedule to run a full backup the first sunday of the month and incremental backup the other days of the month? Schedule { Name = "Monthly" Run = Full 1st sun at 23:30 Run = Incremental ... } Can I use exceptions in Schedule definitions? I mean, run incremental daily except first sun of the month. [Bacula-users] Volume Full
Hello, I have set up bacula to save the backups in an external HD. The HD was 80% full with other backups, and when bacula was doing the job, the volume ran out of space. After that, I deleted all the other backups from other backup solutions, and update the volume from the bconsole from full to append. The job is still not running. What can I do to let bacula finish the job and continue appending data to de disk? There is a lot of space now.
