[Bacula-users] Console does not connect

2016-08-26 Thread Cleuson Alves
Hello, I have a problem in bacula installation.
Once installed, the console does not connect to the Director.
I am using Ubuntu 04.16.
When I run the check command, I get the following message:
# Bacula-dir -d -v -t -c bacula-dir.conf
bacula-dir: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libbaccats-7.4.1.so: undefined
symbol: mysql_init
Could anyone give me feedback about this?
Thank you.

 :-) At first I thought you were trolling me a little, but then I looked
 and sure enough, my Director has died.
 How can I find out what happened?

 Thanks,
 Shon

 Dear All,
  I'm having an issue with bconsole not being able to connect to the
 Director

 bconsole[18490]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] bsock.c:138 Unable to connect
 to Director daemon on mt-back4.mentora.:9101. ERR=Connection refused

 I *think* what has happened is that so many jobs are in queue that I've
 exceeded the number of connections the Directory allows? This actually
 happened to me a couple weeks ago after an incredibly large backup job
 backed up the queue.

 I was wondering how to more accurately troubleshoot this, if I can
 recover without killing, etc...

 PLEASE - do not respond about authentication, etc... This is not an
 authentication issue.

 Yes, you are right. It is not an authorization issue, because the error
 is: ERR=Connection refused. :)

 There is no Bacula Director listening at: mt-back4.mentora.:9101. Check
 it.

 best regards

[Bacula-users] Catalog recycling

2013-01-22 Thread Cleuson Alves
Hello, I have noticed that as not recycle my catalog but the volumes, after
a period, the catalog looking for a content that is no longer in the system
as the message For one or more of the JobIds selected, the files were found
, so file selection is not possible. , so how can I keep only the catalog
data in use?

Note: If the differential recycle every 15 days and incremental every 7 days,
as would the retention time of the catalog?

Thank you.
I await help!

[Bacula-users] Recycling Backup

2011-12-05 Thread Cleuson Alves
Good afternoon guys, I'm setting up a recycling scheme will be a monthly
full backup every day the first of each month, a difference every Saturday
and a daily incremental, but how can I build this structure so that
the differential
and incremental expire prior to when run the first full day, others are
already waiting for the new recycled full volume?

I await feedback

[Bacula-users] automatic label

2011-07-07 Thread Cleuson Alves
Goodnight everyone, I decided rather than creating labels in hand, put
them automatically,
so I created this pool, but when you restart the bacula, it does not create
this label, nor give any hint of something wrong.
Could someone give a help?
Using CentOS 5.4.

Follow the pool below:

Pool {
   Name = Full_Ubuntu
   Pool Type = Backup
   Storage = Storage1
   Maximum Volume Jobs = 1
   Recycle = yes
   AutoPrune = yes
   Volume Retention = 1 Month
   Maximum Volume Bytes = 40G
   Maximum Volumes = 4
   LabelFormat = Week-$ {Month} - $ {Day}

}

Thank you.

[Bacula-users] 3 volumes per server

2011-06-19 Thread Cleuson Alves
Goodnight everyone, I have currently implemented three volumes to the
servers of the company's 1TB HD 2. A full, one incremental and a
differential, so will all full copies to the same volume as well as the full
incremental incremental volume going to the same applies to the differential,
and over a period of use, the volumes are growing and at some point
when you need
to restore a file, Bacula can take depending on the size that has the volume
.
With this in mind, I wonder if any of you could give me a help so I
can distinguish
the volumes, ie, a volume full, one incremental and a differential for each
server, so if you were backing up three servers, 9 volumes exist.
As should be configured for each client and the job pool?

Thank you.

[Bacula-users] Label use in the pool

2011-06-06 Thread Cleuson Alves
Hello everybody, I still can not understand what the advantage of using the
label inside the pool instead of creating the volume at hand.
Here's an example:

Pool {
 Name = Full_Server-01
 Pool Type = Backup
 Storage = FullStorage
 Maximum Volume Jobs = 1
 Maximum Volume Bytes = 6g
 Recycle = yes
 AutoPrune = yes
 Volume Retention = 2 weeks
 Maximum Volumes = 5
 LabelFormat = F_server 01_-$ {Year} - $ {MONTH} - $ {Day} _ $ {hour}.
$ {Minute}. $ {Second} - - what is the advantage of using this way, it
recycles a new date?

Thanks.
I await an explanation for my help.

[Bacula-users] restore specific jobid

2011-05-26 Thread Cleuson Alves
Hello everybody, if you need to restore a full jobid and some incremental
but not all, as could be done via the console, for a given jobid
restore a specific
server and all incremental, one at a time, ie, in order, seems too much work,
so what would be the quickest way?

Thanks.

[Bacula-users] Recycling volumes

2011-05-20 Thread Cleuson Alves
Good afternoon everyone, I'm new to this list, but I need help.
if I set a pool in this way the label format will keep the name and recycle
automatically changing only the date and year, and need not create it again?
The seventh volume in the incremental backup will be recycled as they are only
6 days of retention?

Below the pool:

Pool {
Name = Incremental
Pool type = backup
Storage = HD
Recycle = yes
AutoPrune = yes
Volume Use Duration = 20 hours
Volume Retention = 6 days
Label Format = Client - $ {Day: p/2/0/r} - $ {Month: p/2/0/r} - $ {Year}
MaximumVolume = 900G
}

Thanks.
