[Bacula-users] Autochanger Tandberg

2013-02-08 Thread Jürgen Ecker
Hi,

i have another problem with our tape library. The problem is that i get the
following error.

94 Full Tape.2013-02-08_16.37.17_03 is waiting for an appendable Volume

If i check the storage with stat-2: Storage-Autochanger it shows me the
following information:

Device LTO-4 (/dev/nst0) is mounted with:
Volume:  AAC720
Pool:Tape
Media type:  LT0
Device is BLOCKED waiting to create a volume for:

Positioned at File=0 Block=0

Used Volume status:
AAC720 on device LTO-4 (/dev/nst0)
Reader=0 writers=0 devres=1 volinuse=0

The tape library supports a barcodescanner and i have labeled the tapes with
label barcodes.

Why it hangs? I don´t want to label a volume by hand. It should be auto
labeled. What is wrong in my configuration.

Here my configurations:

bacula-dir.conf
Storage {
  Name = Autochanger
  Address = 10.0.0.10
  SDPort = 9103
  Password = password

}

bacula-sd.conf
Autochanger {

2013-01-28 Thread Jürgen Ecker
Hi,

i have a file-retention of 14 days and want it to decrease to 7 days. If I
understand it right, then it would only change the database entrys and purge
the other 7 days if i decrease the file-retention. How can I completly remove
the old files so i get the free space back. I want only the files of the last 7
days not the whole 14 days. Is there a command in bacula avaliable or must i
remove it manualy.

[Bacula-users] Differential backup with old timestamps

2012-10-22 Thread Jürgen Ecker
Hi,

following situation: if i run a full backup, everything run fine, but if i
run after a fullbackup an differential backup, bacula backups data witch
timestamp haven't changed. Thats a big problem, because bacula backups
arbitrary data, so that i have sometimes 50GB differental backups 10 minutes
after a full backup. Thats not possible that in 10 minutes 50GB Data have a
changed timestamp. If i search the differential backuped files, i see
data that have a timestamp from 2004-11-16 and will backuped after all.
Whats went wrong? Is that a bacula bug. I have installed the 5.2.10 FD
version and the 5.2.5 server version. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Jürgen

[Bacula-users] Backup Job wird nicht ausgeführt

2012-10-17 Thread Jürgen Ecker
Hallo,

Problem besteht weiterhin. Hat schon jemand die gleichen Erfahrungen gesammelt?

Gruß Jürgen

[Bacula-users] Bacula start no Jobs

2012-10-17 Thread Jürgen Ecker
Hello,

I have a strange Problem. When i restart the bacula-director service, bacula
wouldn´t run any Jobs any more. When they get canceled, i would have a
indication, but in this case there is nothing to see. In the log files is
nothing to see. After a complete server reboot, bacula starts jobs again till a
service restart. I thougt that might be a service dependence, but i can't find
any mistakes.

I use an Ubuntu 12.04 with Bacula 5.0.2-2.2+squeeze1. I have also compiled the
5.2.6 Version but without any solution. Has anybody noticed the same problem.

[Bacula-users] Netware Shares sichern

2012-09-12 Thread Jürgen Ecker
Hallo,

more performance? Is the problem on the Netware side or on the bacula side?
