[Bacula-users] Baucula retention policy is not working
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello Bacula-Users, I have a question. I've configured a job in Bacula with 8 days volume retention. This job backups data from a DRBD-Cluster. The full backup was running on the 23. August 12:00 pm. The last incremental backup was running today 1:00 am but this job wasn't deleting the full backup: 8days.FPC01-3186. On the 25. August we had a failover to the standby server and the bacula-fd was reporting. 25-Aug 01:00 fpc-static1-fd JobId 30933: Could not stat "/drbd/www/static/media/catalog": ERR=No such file or directory Termination:Backup OK -- with warnings That is normal because Bacula doesn't use the floating ip to backup the data from the DRBD-Cluster. Anybody an idea why we have this situation? From my point of view it looks like that this issue is related to the failover. Re: [Bacula-users] Offsite Backup
Hi Gary, thank you for your feedback. The destination server has a different directory structure. And it's not so easy to mount the directory in the same way. source: /backup/bacula/ destination: /Backup/... (should be our offsite server) Should I create a symlink? The next question. On the destination server I need to exclude the jobs to prevent errors on the director? I only need one file daemon(localhost) to restore the files from backup?
