Bacula on sqlite3 will be supported for the lifetime of Buster. Beyond Buster: nobody knows yet. It may very well be possible for Carsten and me to decide the remove support for sqlite3 for Debian 11/Bookworm. For me : PostgreSql Le 04/07/2019 à 12:24, Axel Kittenberger a écrit : Hello, I just upgraded my bacula dir/sd server to debian buster and the update messages told me, sqlite3 would no longer be supported by bacula and a conversation would be recommended. Okay fair enough. So... what would you recommend, MariaDB or PostGres? I have absolutely no preference and that database server is going to only be used for bacula catalog anyway (also on same machine). And is there any step by step guide for this available somewhere? PS: Since the official release of buster is imminent, I suppose there will be a bunch of people stumbling over this soon.
