See also the wiki.

My current advice remains. If you want to remove the job history, your
answer is there, I'm sure.

If you want to clear the record of past run jobs, delete all the state
files in and under Bacula's working directory as well.

If you're really worried about job status, see the FAQ. Pretty sure
it's in there, or in the wiki

It´s not only the job status. I am not sure everything is doing jobs
like it should. In the FAQ is mentioned only to drop the tables. But
this doesn´t seem to be enough.

As i already posted in another thread everything worked fine, only the
backup of the catalog is not working.

Alex,

Your bacula configuration might be using files for storage, instead of
the database.

I'm not sure, but take a look in /var/lib/bacula

[Bacula-users] Starting from scratch

2010-07-12 Thread Alex Huth
Hello!

I would like to start from scratch for debugging. That are the steps
i have done:

1. Stop all services
2. Drop the tables
3. Drop the database
4. Delete the files in working and the volumes in storage
5. create database
6. make table
7. grant privileges
8. restart services

When i connect with the bconsole and call the status, i can see all
jobs i have done so far. What is missing to start from scratch?
