When I see a 'Connection reset by peer' in my environment, it's always turned out to be a firewall config that needs adjustment. Re: [Bacula-users] Console oddity
It's interesting... I had made a change to my firewall a few days ago, and running a similar test today did not cause the first client to disconnect. I'll have to test again when the person who had the first computer I was testing with comes back. Hopefully it is simply a matter of the firewall modification. In this particular case, I changed it from allowing all connections from specified systems to allowing all systems to connect to the relevant ports. If that does the trick, I'll be very happy! Thanks again. --Brennon Erich Prinz wrote: When I see a 'Connection reset by peer' in my environment, it's always turned out to be a firewall config that needs adjustment. I'm trying out the third type of console, where the user is able to run the setip command and start the backups on their own. For what it's worth, I'm running wx-console on both systems. This portion of it works well. When the second system connects up and starts a backup, however, the backup running from the first system is canceled with the following error: 14-Mar 16:27 alu-dir: No prior Full backup Job record found. 14-Mar 16:27 alu-dir: No prior or suitable Full backup found. When I run both jobs from a central console (bconsole on the server), however, they run simultaneously with no trouble. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I'm hoping it's just something that I'm doing wrong.
