This indicates that you client has difficulties connecting to the 
storage daemon with storage LTO.


You should verify that your setup is correct - especially that the 
addresses for the SD and DIR can be resolved from the clients.


This can be a firewall issue, in that case make sure the necessary ports 
are open.

I can connect to FD and SD the the console but the scheduled back fails 
, can any one tell my why and what i can do to get over this annoyance

the *unknown* entry tells you bacula doesn't know what media to use ..
maybe you didn't add a volume to your pool yet ?
or you got one that hasn't had his redemption period run out so it can 
be recycled ?
