It simply means that you probably had several connections open to the Director OR after the socket to the Director was closed, the program (bconsole?) attempted to send another message. It is probably harmless. It is also pretty difficult to track down otherwise I would have fixed it. I think I have removed this message in the current version (9.2.2) to be released immanently. Can me help anyone? I do not recall seeing that. I do see read errors but these are for new never written tapes and the block would be 0:0 You could try running a verify job volume to catalog to see if the data is consistent.
