Re: [Bacula-users] linux-dir and windows-sd
Yes it does. The linux-dir was able to access the directory but was not about to create a volume for the backup because as you can see from the error, it's using the linux / instead of the windows \ From: Robert Nelson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 28, 2007 4:53 PM To: 'Raymond Luong' [EMAIL PROTECTED], bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: RE: [Bacula-users] linux-dir and windows-sd Does the directory E:\backup exist? Bacula is running as root on the linux machine. I really don't know what user permission to set the folder to. Can you offer more detail. Re: [Bacula-users] linux-dir and windows-sd
Never mind, got it to work. Thanks for the suggestion. I also have another problem. Ever since I upgrade to 2.0.3, I was using linux fc6 as the dir and sd but the sd folder is a map network folder off a windows xp. Now whenever I do a backup of a windows machine, the backup volume turn out to be twice the size of the data, and I have gzip in place. I'm hoping by setting the window xp as the sd machine will resolve this. Do you have any experience with this problem?
