By 24 months your baby:
.Walks up and down stairs alone, both feet on each step
.Stands on one foot
.Stacks three to six blocks at a time
.Understands over 2,000 words
.Says 30 to 50 words
.Makes two-word sentences
.Can soothe himself 
.Reacts to anger and affection among other family members
.Shows anxiety around unfamiliar toddlers and in anticipation of unpleasant events

Signs of Trouble
The variation in abilities among 10- to 15-month-olds is astounding, but you should 
talk to your pediatrician if your child does not:
.Search for hidden objects by 12 months
.Say a few words by 15 months
.Point to things and look at pictures by 12 months
.Crawl or walk in some fashion by 12 months
.Respond to games such as "peekaboo" and "pat-a-cake" by 12 months
