[BangPypers] Introduction to Data Analysis Workshop

Hi

In June, we had workshop on Machine learning [0], it was very well
received. Instructors felt doing an introductory workshop will help the
ecosystem, having that in mind we have introduction to data analysis
workshop on next saturday [1].
It is focussed for beginners to the field of data science.

*Agenda:*

Understanding data and deriving insights from it is the core of Data
Science. In this workshop, we will be going many of the following:

1) What is data analysis?
2) How to acquire data?
3) How to refine data?
4) How to explore the refined data?
5) How to build models on the data?
6) How to turn data and analysis into insight ?

Data & Requirements are posted on to the repo [1]:

Please install them prior to the workshop.

We have books sponsored by various people. Recently o'reilly sponsored

Pyladies Bangalore chapter is conducting “Introduction to Python
Programming Workshop” at Center for Internet and Society, located at No.
194, Second 'C' Cross, Domlur, 2nd Stage, Bangalore - 560071, Karnataka,
India on April 30th, 2016[1].

The rules are as follows:

1.   Please RSVP for the event so that I can keep a tab on the number
of people coming to the event.

2.   This is women friendly community. No slang, no mischievous, sexist
remarks are allowed. Please review the Pyladies Bangalore Code of Conduct
[2].

3.   If you are man wanting to participate in the workshop, please
bring a female companion who has a need to learn python. Preference will be
given to women first.

4.   If you want to help organize the event, please contact me offline
to know more on what can be done.
