[BAROQUE-LUTE] Re: record/method

2008-08-24 Thread Anthony Hind

Jim
I think there may be a few changes to the written text, even in
French, but I don't think the music examples have been altered,
unless there are a few minor corrections, as often is the case in a
new edition.

I have asked Miguel about that.

Jim
Miguel replies that there are a lot of small but important
corrections !
Also, the quality of the printing is "incomparablyt" better !

[BAROQUE-LUTE] Question for the Baroque Lute forum members

2008-08-24 Thread Michael Ely
   Dear friends,
This is my first post to the lute forum. I'd like to ask the Baroque
lutenists here if anyone has ordered an instrument from Luciano Faria
in the past two years or so? I am interested to hear from you because I
tried to contact him about a lute I ordered, so far with little
success. Please write me if you joined his wait-list and share your
impression with the instrument you received.
   Thanks!
   Michael

[BAROQUE-LUTE] Re: Question for the Baroque Lute forum members

2008-08-24 Thread Jim Abraham
I have a baroque lute from Luciano, which I received about a year ago.
He is a good, conscientious guy, but he has some strange, practially
off-the-grid, telecommunications setup. It usually takes me about a
month or two to get a reply to an urgent message. The instrument is
   very nice, however.
