[base] BASE2: cannot create new Experiment with existing raw data

2006-09-29 Thread Micha Bayer
Hi,

I have just installed BASE2 and I have got as far as importing a raw
data set with Agilent data. I would now like to try out some of the
analysis plugins which apparently means I have to create a new
experiment item first.
When I try to do this I get an error after attaching my raw data to it:

Invalid data
On page /base2/views/experiments/index.jsp
No raw data has been added to the raw bioassay: Raw bioassay[id=1;
name=test raw bioassay]

I have tried this several times and it fails consistently. I have double
checked and there definitely is raw data attached to the raw bioassay --
I can see them in the raw bioassay view.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Is this a bug or am I just doing
something wrong here?

Thanks

Micha

Hi,

Since you are running the demo installation, your privileges may have been
limited.
I can unlink affy array design/ raw files association on my installation.
Note: I have admin rights.

Dominic

Subject: [base] Changing CDF/CEL association

Hi,

Using BASE2 on (on the demo site) I accidentally associated the wrong CDF
file with the CEL file. It looks like you should be able to change 'Array
design' in 'Raw bioassay' but if you 'Edit' there doesn't appear to be an
option to change it.

Is there a work around or do I have to delete the raw bioassay and start
again?

Or is this a feature that could be added to the list please?

Thanks for any help,

Steve
