That was the issue, wrong path. 

*Beebe Dark theme* is what I selected over the built-in default color 
schemes

Please check to make sure you're working with BBEdit's actual 
application support folder, which is located at:

where USERNAME is the short name of your login account, and

which is the top-level "Library" folder on your Mac's hard drive.

I'm struggling to learn how one adds a color scheme to BBEdit V11

Steps I followed;

Made a folder /Library/Application Support/BBEdit/Color Schemes/ 

 

Unzipped the color scheme file from this BBEdit Wiki http://bit.ly/1UfsL66

 into newly added Color Scheme folder


I don't see the scheme in the pull down list ?

Do you see what I'm doing wrong, or weblink to validated V11 color schemes

I've installed and test it. It crashes no more, but the bugfix added 
another one - take a look at the attached screenshot - so I must go back to 
the official version again.


My favorite though: [297596] Added ellipses to the "Preferences" and 
"Setup" menu commands, because some people just want to watch the world 
burn. :-)

BBEdit 11 crashes while switching color scheme

Hello!


I managed to bring BBEdit 11 to crash :-( by switching from the *BBEdit 
Classic" - Color Scheme to the current "Solarized - Light" 
(http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized). 
It isn't only the Solarized - theme, but all of my old Color Schemes (s. 
attached screenshot), that bring BBEdit to crash.

Does anybody experience something like this too?

Do the old color schemes must be converted somehow in order to be 
compatible to BBEdit 11?
