I just poked around and if I selected BBEdit as my external code editor, DW asked me if I wanted to integrate. I said Yessir and now it doesn't complain any more. Sort of. What has worked for me is to unchecked the integrate with BBEdit box in Dreamweaver, but then designate BBEdit as the external editor in the box right below that. I'm not next to a copy of Dreamweaver right now, so I can't tell you the exact names, but once you get on the correct page in Dreamweaver preferences, you should be able to figure it out. Problem with BBEdit and older version of Dreamweaver?
I keep getting this message Dreamweaver has detected a version of BBEdit that is not Dreamweaver-enabled. Please upgrade BBEdit or disable BBEdit integration in Dreamweaver's General Preferences. First off, I can't find anywhere to disable BBEdit integration in Dreamweaver's CS3's General Preferences. And secondly I just purchased the most recent version of BBEdit 10.5.1. Does this mean BBEdit 10.5.1 is not compatible with Dreamweaver's CS3? Thanks in advance!
