Hello Arjen and welcome!

Have you ever used Steiner's growth and decay meditations to qualify the impulse within a plant?

Sarah

" I did a course with a man called Hans Andeweg, who has quite stirred up the Dutch biodynamic movement, by teaching many farmers and growers how they can feel the radiation of the soil/crops as well as using a pendulum to determine certain parameters like Bovis value and Orgone. He uses these parameters to establish if a field/crop/farm organism is healthy or might need a certain input. "___

If, after drinking lots of water, you still have trouble, you might try 2 pressure points to balance your energy field. One of these ponts is theposterior edgeof your hand-sort of below your little finger. The other is called a "sore spot" and it is located right below your collar bone (either side). You thump thepoint on your handor rub the "sore spot" to help center your energy. [some of you may recognize these as the set-up for EFT http://www.emofree.com/]
It's actually a good sign that nothing happens at first. My experience is that people who can will the pendulum have a much harder time getting an authentic reading.

" go to the web site for the American Dowsers Association www.dowsers.org and download the booklet " letter to Robin " by Walt Woods I've tried -- it doesn't work for me. ie) the pendulum shows no inclination to change direction in response to questions.I have tried some of Sharon's suggestions, will try some more. The comment on dehydration is interesting. I just heard a medical person explain that even minor dehydration affects the inner ear and balance system. He was explaining that ipuprofin causes such dehydration, as does caffeine. Oops. Caught me in my habit.
==Dave Robison
Hi Dave
I know the feeling - for many years I believed that dowsing was a gift that some people (not me)had been given due to different body chemistry or whatever and I tried several times over a period of years (with L rods) nothing happened !!! This is very frustrating and imprints strongly in the mind. I am now strong and confident with a pendulum but stillmy mental block with the rods hangs around and it is hard to shift.
Drink plenty of good water, that is really important, and back off the coffee for at least a couple of hours before you try. Sit with feet flat on the floor not legscrossed (this neutralises me instantly) Play some good classical music. Anything to help you relax and focus. If your'e still stuck - organise a group and get someone in to teach - the extra energy of a group learning dowsing will get everybody goingand you get to meet some nice people.
Have fun

Might try to vacuum them up carefully and shew them outside if it is not too
cold outside right now. Other than that, cool your house right down and
they will hibernate until spring. (: , or, keep some bean plants or
other plants susceptible to aphids around for them so that they don't get in
the house, in other words, some sort of refugia where they can stay or
hibernate outside the house. Normally, in cold climates, they hibernate
underneath hedges.

The 'house lady bugs' are most likely an invasive import (more
orange than red) and not to be confused with the ladybugs Rodale
taught us all to treasure. We get 'em and we ignore them for the few
months that they will be here. Heaven knows what they are up to,
clinging to the window above the kitchen sink, but they don't seem
to be eating on anything, or, for that matter, soiling anything, so
we just leave them be.

If I didn't like them, I'd try playing some Ted Nugent, or
something, really loud until they took a hint. (At least this works
for other unwanted guests.)

Gee. I hadn't thought of that. I suggested she read James Fennimore
Cooper out loud to them every night.

What you say is true of, I believe, any device used to transfer the subtle energies...pendulum, whatever. The instrument is needed for focus, and, after a while, beings will attend to aid the work. Do you know of anyone carrying Drown's work forward? Also, have you ever heard of Oscar Brunler?

Hi! Jane,Radionics is a formalization of a number of closely related energeticmethodologies. Radionics traces it's history over a similar period as BD. Thereare a number of schools of thought in Radionics and some do not speak to others.Radionics ranges from the very complex to the very simple and across the rangesome thing work much better than others. Some methods require broadcast overlong period, or repeated broadcasts, some are one shot hits, great differences. Some Radionics Practitioners formally trained and others are not even in contactwith another like minded soul. With early work by Abrams, considerabledevelopment was continued by Drown. Most Radionics, as we know it, is post Drownand built on her work and on that of those who came after her. February 2003marks sixty years of Radionics in the UK where most of the major developments!
have taken place and much of the research leading to us having some idea of whatactually happens, has taken place. There will be a major conference to mark thedate.Radionics has taken many paths and many dead ends. It seems to me that a highpercentage of those who do the hard miles and actually study it to depth, alsomake some contribution to overview, with new instruments or betterunderstanding. Every now and a again some one will come up with a system thatmakes things over complicated and cumbersome. These divergence's are usuallyshort lived. The really powerful systems in use currently are paper based. Herein Oz, Frank Moody found that the circuit of an instrument, would work as wellas the physical instrument, in the hands of a trained practitioner. He laterdeveloped this further and we can increase our arson of instruments at thephotocopier any time we need more. In India, Western type instruments, even whenmade loc!
ally were too dear for the local needs and they came up with the ystem, which will treat a large range of the sort things most people will comeacross. I have previously posted on the joint UK - US development of theMeridian Card System, the fastest working system I know about. With all these systems, it is still necessary to have a good understanding ofwhat you are trying to do. If working on people or animals, you must have theappropriate anatomy and physiology and an understanding of disease and how allthe systems work. In venturing into agriculture or the environment, one shouldhave the required knowledge appropriate to the area of interest. On top of all this, to be a creditable practitioner, one needs to have ones lifein order, as most of what Radionics is about is done by the mind of thepractitioner, thus if one has distractions, lack of concentration or effected bysubstances, your work will reflect that situati!
on.Then there is the core knowledge of Radionics. This is to do with anunderstanding of the energies involved, the subtle anatomy and other matterswhich have a meaning in Radionics, which at times is quite different from otherdisciplines. This is only taught person to person and not available in publishedform. It is this that divides the formally trained from those who are not. Thevetting of students before and during training is rigorous and unforgiving.Around the place are many people making instruments without the core knowledge, and while they may work to some extent, they are not a patch on those properlydesigned and constructed.Having studied the core knowledge, the practitioner is free to go on andinnovate and develop Radionics further. The recent major innovation has been theMeridian System. I am currently doing some promising work in the Agriculture/Environmental area.Over time, Radionics has tak!
en on board many other vibrational methodologies -Homeopathy, Flower Essences, Gem Essences, several Colour methods etc etc. Thesecan be made up as a pill or liquid, or broadcast direct to the client. To useeach of these, the practitioner must of course also study the field they aregoing to venture into. Thus most of us are continually studying and teaching oneanother. While the basic training is three and a half years, learning is forever.Having rambled at length above, I can now get to the core point of your post.Yes, we can work without instruments, but at the risk of loosing focus. Theinstruments, rates, cards etc are nothing more than a focus for thepractitioner's mind. There are all sort of hazards in non instrument Radionics.Say you are working on a client (Most Radionics is remote - we rarely meet ourclients) and an attractive person walks down the street and catches yourattention, the treatment can be redir!

Hi, Jane,
For me, some give a name and some don't.
Drown was an early radionics practitioner who developed a marvelous techique for diagnosing the human body. She was so successful she drew fire from the FDA to the extent evidence was actually fabricated for her trial. Trevor Constable wrote of her work and actually studied with her. I'd love to know if any of her devices are still in existance. I'd think there'd be a lot to learn.
Brunler was also a radionics practitioner who studied the subtle energy from the crown chakra and felt it correlated with the age of the soul.

question re Agriculture lectures

Hello all,

First, my sincere gratitude to those who answer my frequent questions.
As you might remember, I facilitate a study group, and more than once
have hit the wall so to speak with this or that concept. The concept
du jour is in chapter 3 where Dr. S says that Hydrogen, having the
smallest atomic weight (of the 5 elements discussed), is the least
spiritual. HUH? (p.54)

Re: A comment on the 3 kings

2002-01-06 Thread Sarah Cherry

Strangely, I was logging on to ask for comments about the 3 Kings prep
myself when I read this post!

I have a study group reading the Agriculture lectures. We have about
half and half participants-half who have worked with the preps and half
who have not. We had a New Year's Eve gathering where we ground the
prep . For us, the grinding went quite fast. Those who have never used
the BD hpreps understood that it was not advisable for them to put it
down, and why. However, today I had an intuition that I wanted to run
by you folks and ask whether or not it rang true. In the first place,
the newbies in the group have put down some of the preps because we
have done them together. Therefore, I feel that becauese we are working
as a community to which these individuals are committed, that this will
magnify the forces on their property because they are directly
connected to property on which there is a long history of the BD work.
In addition, I am wondering if these new folks put the (3 Kings) prep
on 3 sides or perhaps only 2 sides of their property as an intention of
beginning their work in earnest with the preps, with the intent of
putting down all the preps in the coming year and then closing the
boundary with the 3 Kings next year.

I have personally felt this prep to be perhaps the most sacred of the
preps. This is the first time I've used it and the energy is quite
humbling. I plan to read the post below to the group before we stir
today.

blessings,

Sarah

The 3Kings thread has been interesting... Markess said that the
 blending
went quicker this year. It sure did! In past years it has taken at
 least a
half hour of mashing and crunching to reach the brown sugar stage
 with the
Gold Frankincense and Myrrh. It happened within five or ten minutes
 this
year. We (in our group) were all very intrigued.
Also, what happened in the past when the glycerine and H20 was
 added,
was that everything went into a beautiful creamy solution (like brown
 sugar
and milk), before beginning to come unstirred and clumpy. This year
 upon
adding glycerine and H20, the clumpiness never went away. We were
 not able
to get the creamy paste of years past... interesting.

In all of the talk of welcoming elementals, let us remember that
 first
and foremost here, we are joining in with the 3Kings themselves and
 bringing
the gifts of ourselves and humanity before the Christ. (the door)
It seems to me that when one comes to the personal place in
 their life
where they consciously come before the Christ with both
 mystical/symbolic
gifts,(non-material) and very real, material gifts (Gold,
 Frankincense and
Myrrh), benificent elementals are sure to want to hang out with you!
