If you feel like it, 5.9.x/5.10.x should be in good shape.. minus the
re-numbering of the eMMC node name.. So fun things happen on eMMC
boards..

5.8.x-bone is probably the most mainline tested verizon..

If you have the bone running try:
bone$ */opt/scripts/tools*
bone$ *sudo ./update_kernel.sh --bone-kernel*
[sudo] password for debian:
info: checking archive
2020-11-30 14:53:46
URL:https://rcn-ee.com/repos/latest/buster-armhf/LATEST-omap-psp [254/254]
-> "LATEST-omap-psp" [1]
-
Kernel Options:
ABI:1 LTS44 4.4.145-bone23
ABI:1 LTS49 4.9.178-bone15
ABI:1 LTS414 4.14.198-bone40
ABI:1 LTS419 4.19.142-bone56
ABI:1 LTS54 5.4.70-bone38
ABI:1 LTS510 5.10.0-rc5-bone4
ABI:1 STABLE 5.8.18-bone23
ABI:1 TESTING 5.9.1-bone12
ABI:1 EXPERIMENTAL 5.9.1-bone10
-
Kernel version options:
-
LTS414: --lts-4_14
LTS419: --lts-4_19
LTS54: --lts-5_4
STABLE: --stable
TESTING: --testing
-
Please pass one of the above kernel options to update_kernel.sh

Looks like 5.8 or 5.9 should work.

Hello everyone, I am new to beaglebone. I want to know what is the latest
kernel version supported on beaglebone black, and where to find the source
tree for it? Furthermore is there any place where I can keep track of it
beagleboard.org doesn't has no info about it (maybe I am wrong sorry!).
