Boys and girls... are they different?
Hello All, I have a question regarding the behavior and temperament of berner boys compared to girls. I have had only male berners till now (we tried herding, had obedience trainings, attended show, fun meetings, etc.) but I don't have experiences with girls. Now I hope to add a girl to our family in the near future, for whom we have been waited for 3 years now and I would like to be prepared the best I can. I'm not asking about health issues, what I am interested in is: are the males/females more attached to one person or the whole family, which one of them is more sensitiv, etc. Please keep your fingers crossed for this litter to be born! Absolutely free!!!
Hello All, what a happy day we had yesturday. I took Balu to the vet to have the complete x-rays done. And the results are wonderful, he is absolutely free: HD 0/0, ED 0/0, OCD 0/0! After all the sorrow with Max, I'm so happy for Balu's results. Sending tons of berner hugs, Timi Balu, in memoriam of my forever love, Max
Stolen Bernese bitches!!!! Please help!!!
Hello, it seems like that I can only bring bad news nowdays. After telling you about the loss of my beloved berner boy, Max, now I have to ask you for your attention. In the last few weeks 3 bernese mountain dog bitches had been stolen. The thiefs simply cut off the wire fence and took the dogs. One of these bitches is the litter sister of my younger boy. The police told the owners, that they think the dogs will be taken abroad. So please, if you now anything about them let me know. I have the details, the registration numbers, etc. I'm afraid these dogs were stolen by the same person, and it must be someone, who knows them. One of the bitches was in heat and two of them had already their HD-ED certifications... I hope they will not show up at an auction or in a puppy mill. Thank you in advance, Tmea Romn http://www.bshclub.com
Hemangio sarcoma
Dear All, my boy, Max, was diagnosed with hemangio sarcoma. He had a surgery, and the lump was removed. According to what the vet said to me, the tumor could be removed with its roots and he doesn't think that the cancer has spread already. I try to believe it, but I can see that Max is not doing well. He was VERY well after the surgery, playing and running around, but now he is sleeping al the time and don't even wants to go for a walk. Of course I consulted our vet, but he said, that only 1.5 month after the surgery he can't do anything, but wait. So my question would be, if you know about anything I could do for him. Any special treatment, nutrition, etc. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated! He is my one and only, I would do anything for him!!! Thank you so much, Timi with Max Balu Hungary
