I am not sure if the Berner has the double coat the leo has, but, it works great! I hope that is of some help for you. Hi all, I am planning to purchase a Mars Coat king for my two guys, but I'm not sure what size I should get. I think I should get two- one for the ears and one for the rest of their big hairy bodies. i too have one, has anyone used it on their dog's back. woofit is blowing his coat and there is always more fur there than i can believe. i filled a mixing bowl with fur the other day. i am using a rake with teflon to get it out a rake type brush. should i try the coat king. he tends to be curly. thanks andrea

The Cavalier show people seem to swear by these. It is how they get thick, fuzzy, or curly coats to lie nice and flat for the ring.
